Salam is an EY Partner, leading the General Counsel Office for EY in MENA, based out of Dubai, UAE. She is a legal professional with over 22 years of experience specializing in litigation, regulatory, corporate, employment and corporate finance. Salam is also MENA Leader for EY Global Mindfulness Network, with over 15 years of mindfulness and wellbeing passion.
Salam joined EY in early 2017 and quickly became a trusted advisor to leadership throughout the region. As part of her partnership journey, she is committed to supporting EY’s wellbeing agenda.
Prior to joining EY, Salam spent time in private practice (lead projects with international organizations such as UNHCR and Response International) and worked in senior legal roles with in-house teams of multinational organizations where she oversaw commercial transactions, M&A, project finance, and lead strategic legal and wellbeing initiatives.
Salam is a member of the Lebanese Bar since 2001 (Bachelor of Laws - Lebanese University). She holds an MBA (with Distinction) from London Business School, and Leadership for Senior Executive certificate from Harvard Business School. She is a mindfulness and yoga practitioner with teacher training certificates since 2005, and MBCT and MBSR course certificates, and author of Twelve Seeds and Sangha Stories (happiness and mindfulness programs). Salam is fluent in English and Arabic.
