Working across UK&I to bring clients breadth and depth of sector insight, situational experience and skills to help them develop and execute strategies for growth, Alan is the UK&I Leader for EY-Parthenon.
Having joined EY in 1985, he has over 35 years of experience acting as principal and leading advisor to boards and stakeholders in challenging, stressed and distressed situations.
Alan previously held the position of EY-Parthenon UK&I Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy Leader where he has advised boards, corporates, regulators, government, funders, pension trustees, and investors on how best to rapidly adapt to a changing environment, and create, protect and recover value to transform the outcome.
Alan has been appointed in many high-profile restructurings and is regularly retained to act for the UK government. He has experience in rapid cash and cost improvement, accelerated disposals and acquisitions in distressed situations, and assisting stakeholders in managing rescue, recovery and refinancing situations.
