Rob is a Partner and is an EY Law Ireland leader in digital law.
Rob works with global and domestic organizations on the development and rollout of innovative technologies with a focus on digital and privacy laws, acting as a trusted advisor at senior level.
He advises on Web3 and metaverse opportunities, data protection (GDPR) and privacy, Internet of Things, m-commerce, FinTech, Reg-Tech, technology procurement, outsourcing and transformation projects, including strategic legal due diligence.
Rob comes from a technology background, having qualified and worked as a systems engineer. His early legal career included secondments with global social medias, working on cutting edge privacy, digital content and moderation projects. He works with clients from all areas of the technology sector, from start-ups to fast growing and mid-market enterprises and global organizations, across their entire business life cycle.
Rob is an Irish qualified lawyer and member of the Law Society of Ireland. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business and Legal Studies (BBLS) from University College Dublin. He holds a diploma in Corporate Law and Governance from the Law Society of Ireland, is an Irish and European qualified Trade Mark Attorney, and previously qualified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
