George currently serves as the EY Americas C2 Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services (TARAS) Leader, responsible for the overall strategy and helps in delivering of income tax accounting services to non-audit clients. He has over 20 years of experience advising public and private clients on technical income tax accounting matters such as the adoption of new accounting pronouncements, divestitures, registration and merger filings as well as leading teams in the preparation and review of income tax provisions.
Prior to his current role, George served as a resident in the EY National Accounting Professional Practices group where he advised engagement teams on income tax accounting matters and was involved in the development of tax accounting publications.
George holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York in Buffalo NY. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
