Jaakko works as a Partner in the Strategy and Transactions service line and is the Head of Transaction Diligence service at EY Finland specializing in financial due diligence. He works with both domestic and international corporate as well as private equity clients across several sectors such as consumer products & retail, industrial products and energy.
Jaakko’s experience at EY also includes a period stationed at the firm’s office in Johannesburg, South Africa, heading projects as a corporate finance advisor.
Prior to joining EY Jaakko worked at a FTSE100 listed FMCG company in mostly finance and corporate development roles around Europe being e.g. responsible for finance management of the firm’s selected venture markets.
He is a Chartered Management Accountant (UK, Global) and holds a M.Sc (Econ) in Finance from the Helsinki School of Economics
