The EY Greater China region today announced that the EY Greater China Charity Foundation (the Foundation) pledges to donate Covid-19 rapid test kits, with a total value of approximately HK$1 million, to the Hong Kong Community Anti-Coronavirus Link. These supplies are the first batch of support we source for frontline workers, underprivileged families and the elderly affected by the latest wave of the pandemic in Hong Kong.
We also appreciate our Greater China colleagues for showing their compassion and solidarity through their generous support to those affected in Hong Kong.
Jack Chan, EY China Chairman and EY Greater China Regional Managing Partner, says: “In response to the pressing needs of the society, local communities are actively raising resources and making every effort to support Hong Kong as the city faces new pressure from the pandemic. EY teams pledge to fulfill our responsibilities to the country, society and people, protect our employees’ health and safety, and provide care for those in need.”
The Foundation will continue to procure more anti-epidemic supplies and use various channels to help people in need. It will also provide support to protect the wellbeing of our employees. Meanwhile, the EY Greater Bay Area Task Force will be delegated to consolidate resources from Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Macau offices, to provide further support for our people in Hong Kong.
