Sipho Nkosi is a highly respected businessman and corporate executive who serves on the boards of several leading companies in South Africa. He is the Chairman of global integrated energy and chemical giant Sasol, Director of diversified financial services group Sanlam, and Co-founder and Chairman of investment holding company Talent10.
Sipho previously served as CEO of coal and heavy minerals mining company Exxaro Resources Ltd. and in past was the President of the Chamber of Mines of South Africa. Prior to Exxaro, Sipho was one of the founders and CEO of Eyesizwe Coal and Country Manager for ABB Alstom Power (SA). He is known for his entrepreneurial spirit and has a passion for driving business development in South Africa. He is a sought-after speaker and regularly shares his insight at business events and conferences around the world.
Sipho is the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2012 Southern Africa Award winner, and he won The South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM) Brigadier Stokes Memorial Award in 2015.
