Bálint Lévai and Balázs Lévai

BioTechUSA was originally founded by their parents as a small business distributing gym equipment in Hungary. Twenty years later, the brothers have diversified the company’s offerings and led it to become Europe’s largest producer and distributor of food supplements and functional foods that offer health benefits beyond their nutritional value.    

While the brothers have been contributing to BioTechUSA since childhood, both are now majority owners, with Bálint as CEO and Balázs as Sales Director. The business now operates in 100 countries. Its ever-expanding brand portfolio, which includes Builder, VitaminShop and Scitec Nutrition, offers over 1,500 products, including protein powders, 40 vitamin preparations, weight-control formulas and sports supplements.    

BioTechUSA has also developed an innovative lifestyle program that offers participants support focused on nutrition, training and supplements, with the goal of helping people live a healthier life.     

Bálint and Balázs are committed to BioTechUSA’s environmental, social and corporate responsibility strategy and building a greener future. In 2019, they launched the “Less plastic, more care” campaign, which aims to provide more eco-friendly packaging alternatives. The brothers are also planning to build their own manufacturing facility to create and produce eco-conscious packaging.    

BioTechUSA gives back to the community by working with nonprofit organizations, supporting local hospitals and organizing sport events to raise money for charities. The brothers have also provided financial support and food to Ukrainian refugees.
