EY YTPY Global Competition

Winners at the country or regional level progress to the next stage of the EY YTPY competition, which is conducted as a two-phased global competition.

Phase 1: Global virtual program

In the first phase of the global competition, finalists participate virtually in a series of practical, technical and social activities. These sessions are designed to provide an engaging, informative and collaborative learning experience for all participants.

A distinguished panel of judges — comprising EY partners, representatives from tax authorities and senior tax executives from multinational organizations — evaluates the finalists’ overall performance during this phase. Based on these assessments, the judges select the Top 10 global finalists.

Phase 2: In-person global final

The Top 10 finalists advance to the second phase, which is held as an in-person global final event. The judges will consider the presentations and overall performance of the finalists and announce the winner and two runners-up of the EY YTPY competition.
