How it all works
Timing
The contest begins June 23 and ends July 31, 2008. Each Monday, starting June 30, we will announce the winners on our Facebook page.
How to submit
Review and agree to the disclaimer, and then just add your photo to the photo section within our Ernst & Young Careers page.
Eligibility
All fans of the Ernst & Young Careers page are eligible to win.
Getting you the goods
We will notify winners via your Facebook profile and coordinate getting the prizes to you, from there.
Prizes
Weekly winners will receive iTunes
TM downloads. The Final Winner will receive a cash prize of $200.
Disclaimer and legal stuff
By submitting your photo in the Ernst & Young Careers Page, you and each person included in the photo agree to the following:
- Your photo may not contain any content that we deem to be harmful, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, abusive, inflammatory, harassing, vulgar, obscene, fraudulent, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable. Ernst & Young, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any photo that does not comply with the foregoing.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ernst & Young, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies and or other members of the global Ernst & Young network, each of their respective licensees, successors and assigns, and each of their respective partners, principals, employees, agents, representatives, officers and directors from and against any and all claims, losses, costs, damages, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees) which arise out of any breach of this agreement or any of these covenants, agreements, obligations, rights, representations or warranties set forth herein.
- You hereby give and grant to Ernst & Young LLP, its affiliates and associated companies, their successors and assigns, and any person acting under its permission and authority, including without limitation, any member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited (collectively, “Ernst & Young”), an irrevocable royalty-free, worldwide right, in all media (now known or later developed) to use, publish, alter or otherwise exploit all material submitted to Ernst & Young under the 2008 Summer Photo Competition (each a “Submission”) on and in the Ernst & Young Careers page on Facebook and any Ernst & Young published materials (videotapes, films, and printed materials) and websites, and to sublicense such rights to a licensee at Ernst & Young’s sole discretion. You hereby forever release Ernst & Young and any of its licensees from any and all claims you might have in connection with the use and exhibit of your Submission as set forth above, including but not limited to any and all claims for damages for libel, slander, and invasion of the right to privacy, and you furthermore waive any right to inspect, approve, or edit the Submission or any descriptive or advertising or promotional materials in which the Submission may be included or which may be used in connection therewith. You also agree to sign (your parent or legal guardian if you are a minor in your state or Province) any necessary documentation to effectuate the foregoing license and release. Your represent and warrant that your Submission is your sole original work and you have obtained any and all consents, approvals or licenses required for you to submit your Submission and grant the rights granted hereunder (including obtaining the written consent of all 3rd parties).
