Amanda is leader of the EY Global Government and Infrastructure and Oceania Markets for Strategy and Transactions. The role takes in everything from supporting vulnerable people to delivering infrastructure to improve public services outcomes.
After studying business and marketing at RMIT University in Melbourne and International Tourism in Thailand, Amanda joined a robotics company in a marketing role.
She then worked for a number of start-ups, which led her to outsourced service contracting and infrastructure delivery, and she spent six years in London working on project financing transactions.
After moving back to Australia to work in the public sector, delivering infrastructure-enabled service solutions, Amanda joined EY in 2008 as part of the G&I team, providing commercial advice on system and market reforms.
How Amanda is building a better working world
“As a commercial advisor to governments, I’ve been involved in designing reforms and providing transactions aimed at improving outcomes, often for some of our community’s most vulnerable people. Some of our work has helped Governments take thousands of disadvantaged people off housing waiting lists, and improved life outcomes for children and young people in care.”
